I'd never heard of them either actually. I had to Google 'worst albums of 2015' heh. I was in a goofy mood I guess. Wow, that image is huge... sorry guys, I did that lame post from my phone.

Here's something that isn't lame.

Sometimes it is a short step back to what is important, leaving all the modern bull-schiit behind.

An album heads above anything put out this year.
imo

And from the bandcamp blurb:

Five years since the release of the universally-acclaimed Omnivium, Germany's progressive metal masters OBSCURA are poised to return with their strongest and most dynamic release to date. The aptly-named 'Akroasis' (Greek for "hearing" or "listening") draws on all the various elements of OBSCURA's signature sound and combines those qualities into a mind-blowing and cohesive whole. Produced by the band and V. Santura (Triptykon, Pestilence), 'Akroasis' is eight songs diverse enough to serve as a near-comprehensive introduction to all of extreme metal. Packed to the gills with virtuosic musicianship, compelling themes, and airtight songwriting, 'Akroasis' will undoubtedly breathe new life into death metal, progressive metal and beyond. CD and LP versions each come with (separate) exclusive bonus tracks!!

It will be interesting to hear the new line-up. The last record was so very cool.

That hooded menace album is my favorite of theirs. I've only heard the new one once while I was a little busy, so I can't vouch for its excellence, but it sounded like hm lol. Really good band.

I guess it was just time before a metal band would borrow The Blind Dead ideas?

Speaking of ideas, does anyone know what this is??
