Listening to:

Khemis-Zyklonius thanks for the recommendation on this one! There's so much doom out it's almost too much. This is pretty sweet. Totally down with this traditional, almost rock/stoner kind of sound. Traditional doom has a place in my heart. This is an easy album to recommend for the style. right on.

Pretty darn accessible nearly cross over for non metal rock crowd. Kind surprised.....too much to digest in one sitting for me....will be back for more.

Took a few spins but this album really grew on me.
It's no Parallax II but certainly not their worst album.

Great thread, picking up some good new bands already.

I am new to the site, certainly not new to Metal having been listening for about 25 years, I seem to go round in loops listening to certain albums as current favourites, at the moment I am currently looping through these albums (on my new Fiio X5 Gen 2, in lovely AIFF format) :

Atheist - Unquestionable Presence (Technical Death Metal)
Arturus - Arcturian Sign (Progressive Black Metal)
Dragonlord - Rapture (Black Metal / err, Black Thrash? lol)
The Berzerker - Animosity (Deathgrind)
Vesania - Distractive Killusions (Blackened Death Metal)
Belphegor - Lucifer Incestus (Blackened Death Metal)
