Purchased the special edition of these guys first album in 2008.

They are the hippest of the hipsters and the most post of the post metal wave. Still even though the Piramids are getting a darker sound, they still don't click with me?

I know very little about speakers. Very little. Since there has been some speaker talk here lately, and since the regulars of this thread seem pretty cool, I figured I'd ask here. Is there any chance of signal degradation between a Magni 2 Uber and a pair of powered studio monitors when using a 20' cable? Will this cable be a workable solution to hook up some speakers?

20' is a pretty long run for RCA but it's most likely it'll sound fine. Getting a better cable won't help but being careful with routing (away from power) will help a lot

Thanks for this dude. I'm gonna post this on our FB page for all the MFi'ers.

I just got the Herus+ from Ressossence Labs to play with. Review coming shortly.

The original Herus was pretty good, better than almost all the other usb powered DAC/amps I tried, but I thought the geek out was better. I'll have to check out the plus version

I'm looking for some advice regarding digital coax cables. I know this can be a can of worms. I've got Blue Jeans coax digital cables that I've used to connect my CDP and a Sonos connect to my amplifier. Now, for the first time, I have a separate DAC which is an upgrade. I'm wondering if  I'd hear a difference with a more expensive digital cable in the same way you would with a speaker or HP cable?  I've seen some in the neighborhood of $100. Pricey in my book, but if it would make a difference with resolving gear, I might consider an upgrade. But I have zero interest in throwing money away.  Any thoughts?
