Dopethrone is an obvious highwater mark in doom, but Come my fanatics is what got me on the EW train. Listen with a good system and you will think your speakers are melting. For poeple that think doom is for old hippie guys that want to smoke weed and remember the 70's, think again. Who says doom can't be HAF and evil?  Listen to this and you may be converted to the dark side.

I never got into EW. Not bad at all, I have their discography so far, but not my favorite

Digging that new inter arma track but all I have is a sketchy 3G and my iPhone speaker LOL

This has been a great year for metal already guys!

Blood Music finally shipped my copy of the Viides Luku - Hävitetty remaster.
Can't wait to hear one of my most beloved albums in a new and even more glorious version!
I just need to rent a turntable somewhere.

In iTunes, click Edit, Preferences..., Advanced, then make sure "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" is unchecked.

If this does not resolve the issue, report back.

Streaming the new Haunted album-I liked their earlier stuff. I see AMG gave it a 4.5 and a DR of 6. Good news cause I think the first few tracks I've heard are totally solid. I know I'm going to like this a hellovalot more than watever the new Revocation sounds like. A little like our recent discussion of Jungle Rot.....I gotta give it up to no frills go for the jugular metal.

Man, yoy guys keep putting up some awesome stuff!

Me- I've been in a rare old-school mood lately.  This is one of my top-5 favorite Sabbath tunes.  The album doesn't get much respect, but I totally love Geezers Rickenbacher  bass tone!

Did you buy an Uncle Acid tour shirt? I heard they sold out at their first show of the tour in NYC, so hopefully they got more. I'm seeing them Tuesday in Chicago, excited! I had an extra ticket (of the four I bought) and could not find any friend interested enough to come. I need new friends. I do have a small group who are going.

Great to see the doom love here for YOB and Electric Wizard. It's been an excellent time for doom lately, which I covered below. The newest on Electric Wizard/Witch Mountain will be live first thing in the morning.
