Can anyone guess what this tweak is?

Lets have fun trying to guess.

I just stared at it in disbelief when I first saw it.

it...looks like it's supposed to support your speaker wires, so that they don't hang down and....how would that affect the sound, exactly? I'm lost. did I guess it?

Well, It has to be for your speaker wires, or to eat sushi with

The speaker wires look like Mapleshade specials. The sticks support the wires so they don't pick up static electricity influences from the carpet.

These were Fostex full range (remarkable sound for their size).
The speakers had tripod legs that were potted in special sand.
