Anyways, as the title suggests wondering what the general consensus of the Sim Audio 280d is, if any.
I realize its an "entry" level unit but besides reading overly stellar (schillistic style) reviews all over the place I was looking for the real goods on the unit.
Has anyone heard it? What did you think?
I know the 430HA is getting rave reviews and that's great (looks like a kick ass unit) but I'm looking for specifics more in line with Sim Audio's DAC offerings.
Build?.. QC?... anything you can offer about the brand in general would also be appreciated.
