in August!! Woohoo! My mac mini purchase is slated for 8/11/06. As it's advertised that the upgraded OS will be "previewed" in August, anyone have any idea when it'll be available for purchase?

How did it go w/Tiger? I don't remember.

Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger) was previewed on WWDC in may 2004, but was not released before April 29. 2005.
So don't expect 10.5 (Leopard) to be released before Q2 2007, or something.

A common rumor is it'll be released Q1 2007 to coincide with the public release of Vista, assuming Vista doesn't get pushed back any more times.

I saw this, too, and heard that the release date will be advanced to beat Vista. If Vista gets released at all... didn't they say a few months back that they were going to rewrite 60% of the code? That's going to be tough.

Anyhow, does anyone have a feature list for Leopard yet? Or anything rumored? And will they drop support for any of the older processors?
