Just ordered a Little Dot II++ for my HD595 and am now looking for a good soundcard to drive it. Mostly music of all sorts will be played through it, games are not a factor. Would like to keep price point around $100 (but I can be upsold). Looking at M-AUDIO, EMU, CHAINTECH? modded x-fi?... guess I'd prefer something with rca out. Rather new to this, been digesting the forum for a couple days now and am experiencing info overload!! Any suggestions are much appreciated!

One idea is to try the most simple connection that is the least expensive. The Chaintech is one example.

The sound will be shaped more by the Headphones and your LD amp than the soundcard.
