this 2-3 day thing is bs. as you can see he transfered the money he got from the other accounts to this one ($1254) why doesn't he just transfer the money back to the accounts we paid him with and issue REFUNDS.

there would be NO HASSLES AND NO FEES.

No, but you are insinuating it.

Yet here you are, not long afterwards, raving about it. How long has it actually been? 24 hours? 48? Hardly as though you've gone weeks with no contact, and for all you know the item might already be in the post to you, but you just havent got the PM you want.

You're not being cautious, you're being paranoid. I think that this thread is a great overreaction given the circumstances you've described.

A one-hour bump would suggest so.

LOL....damn...harsh dude...funny as hell, but harsh.

Not LOL. Not harsh, to the point, and at the time, entirely justified. Not funny, not harsh. Sadly, inaccurate in the end. Do not assume that because I was sceptical in the start that I do not have sympathy here. Unlike what you would undoubtedly do in his situation, the OP here has been informative and progressive. Not a whinge.

Always a class act, man. I really took your post to heart, and sent PMs further explaining myself. You were spot on in your analysis of my post. I truly wish that I had been wrong, although in the end it looks like we all got refunds, and I got a Pico from somebody else.

The last time Paypal held and reversed a payment to me was when the account making the payment was involved in some other fraud cases. So umm, yeah, it doesn't look like everyone is going to get their refunds.

Did the fear of consequences scare the scammer straight? If Paypal doesn't unfreeze the funds, it doesn't look like it. He may have tried similar scams in any number of places.

That's what I thought when I read his posts. But he wasn't an established member, and when you aren't emotionally invested in the site, it's easier to become a rogue member.

Hi Aaron, Paypal held my "refund". I still cannot access the refund until now. When I call paypal, they said that qspeedss needs to contact them.

That's because his account is most likely suspect from some other fraud cases. That's just from my experience, and why I said he probably didn't learn.

It's a paypal issue, as far as I can tell. I got a quick response from Quang:

Quote:

Tell them to check their balances now. Paul needs to close the dispute against me. Then he will get his $200 back. The only one who should not have payment yet is mark. I am working on his refund. A guy in the limiting specialist department I just got off the phone with said that everyone should have a refund except paul and mark. As I said before Paul will have his refund once the dispute is closed and paypal stops holding the money. As for mark, I have to solve some limitations on my accounts before I can issue him a refund. Please tell Paul, mark, and zhix to check their mail and respond asap
