Who apart from AL here has heard the Big7 ?

I heard that the Big 7 did extremely well at THE SHOW. The two dacs that seemed to make a splash were the Big 7 and ps audio DS, but especially the Big 7. So what tube configurations can the BIg 7 be built with?

If they did he would probably used those.
 
He chosen 45 for the reason. They are simply the best in this circuit,
hence they are not an option ,but part of the consequent part selection

This is very tempting indeed.  Where are you based ?   ( I am tempted by the BIG7 + 2 mono Lampizator Amps ),
 
Also, on the DAC  does the LCD display show bit rate/frequency like  24/192, 16/44, 24/96....  ?  I like to see what my DAC receives...

I thought there was a choice on tubes for l7. Is this no longer true or just not true for big 7.

Not true for B7. L7 can be made with 45.2A3.300B

Gotcha. Too bad as I was building a stash of 2a3s.

You can build a stash of 45's even easier and cheaper, especially when you are in US. But to
my ears the only better 2A3 than EML 's solid
plate is their Mesh. Same seems to apply to 45.
Listening to it is however still recommended as
we can have a different taste.
