Hi all,
 
I'm new here and I've been curious about what in-ear monitors does Gaga use during her performances, I am not talking about hearbeats by Monster.

Having seen the video I think she uses some kind of Westone's customs

, seeing the headphones cable is twisted look (http://www.westone.com/music-products/pro-audio/AC2), any ideas guys?
 
Btw. I am planning to buy Westone 3 / um3X so if anyone knows where to grab them for a price around 250-300$ go on and post it here please!

update:  just found out that Westone keeps an Artist list - a list of artist that they have made headphones for - http://www.westone.com/music/artist-list seeing that Gaga is not on the list, she might be using some other ones, suprising...

any ideas?

I don't see why that's surprising - there's easily over a dozen custom IEM manufacturers in the US alone. Twisted cables are common as well. I think Lady Gaga uses Jerry Harvey monitors, or at least that's what it said in a facebook post of theirs a while back.

boy, cald, thx for your input, both of u, yeah she definitely uses JH 16 and then she's on UE clientele list as well, so she might be using more IEMs depending on situation...

Ya I got my info wrong sorry she uses JH13's... if you see her using clear IEM's they're more than likely UE and the orange ones are obviously the 13's... you'd think she'd be using the 16's though because of the added bass that you'd think she'd like!

From what I've heard, the 13's are more balanced and neautral than the 16's, which might be why she uses them instead of the 16's. As to which one is better, that depends on what you prefer and what type of music you listen to. I'm sure you could find a good comparison somewhere on the forums.
