Hello.

I bought a new pair of KZ IEMS and i have noticed that there is a lot of noise in the signal, so basicly it sounds like good headphones but with cheap speaker static noise.

They are brand new so are they defective?

iam currently using triple flange silicone eartips with them, are these the problem?

Is the cable defective? Or the whole pair?

This is probably due to the high sensitivity of the IEM. What source are you using? Some sources have poor noise floor control and high sensitivity IEMs face issues such as hiss.

iam using it from my phone/PC without an external DAC

The phone/PC has a DAC inside, which is probably having a poor noise floor control implementation.

Possibly getting a cheap dongle DAC to bypass it such as the apple dongle (sub $10 USD) may help to some extent. YMMV.
