I just got my order in for some KSC-35's.

Even though the original offer e-mail states "limited quantity" if
your order went through on the website, and you got a
confirmation e-mail I think you are set to recieve the KSC-35's.

I got my order confirmation e-mail (maybe you may want to check if your credit cards have already charged.)

But if I get ONE MORE E-MAIL OR CALL FROM A KOSS CSR SAYING THAT MY ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED I WILL BOYCOTT KOSS!!!

(They cut me off from purchasing the Porta Pros at 1/2 price because the CODE had just expired, I guess this is a way to keep their customers happy.)

I will be happy when I get my new KSC-35's in my mailbox.

haha - this deal has been listed on AnandTech forums (huge user base), however the reaction has been mixed. Half the people are posting overjoyed to see this product at this price, from past experience with them or recommendations by friends 'in the know'. The other half of the posts are wondering why anyone would pay $30 for a pair of headphones, hehe. There's even a link to a Head-Fi post comparing the KSC-35 to the KSC-50.

About the shipping. I live in the Netherlands.
I e-mailed Koss about a week ago to ask about it. They said shipping is $30,- and this is without taxes and custom charges!
So Duncun (and everybody else outside the US) you can order them, but it's gonna cost you an awful lot

I live in Amsterdam (hallo

) so I'd also have to have them shipped over. I really want them, but 30 bucks is just insane.

Slightly off topic: which dutch online/offline store do you know has cheap headphones in general? I need some for my Ipod and planned on getting the aiwa v600s or the ksc35s but they arent for sale anywhere

Any suggestions are welcome...

(drop me a pm if you dun wanna pollute this thread

They actually don't leak at all at the volume levels I use. Although some people listen to music really loud and then these things leak. They're open, but not uber-open.

I doubt it. All the head-fi'ers who ever were are probably small potatos to Koss. They're going after every Walmart, Target and Best Buy shopper in the world.
