Hey head-fi.
So i recently bought the KRK KNS 8400 headphones, and nearly at first listen, i got the feeling "these doesn't fit me" - balance wise. There was not enough bass, and the highs was in some occasions a "tsst". Tomorrow or someday soon, i'll be returning them to the store where i bought them. But before i do, i need to find another pair the will fit me better.
As mentioned i don't like when the highs "cracks/breaks" -whatever you wanna call it. So that will be one of the focus-points in the new headset. Next i would like some more bass, not so much in the lows, but like the XB-500.
I mainly listen to rock; Aerosmith, Muse, Egypt Central and Story of the Year. But also pop and house.
Anyone have a suggestion, that will fit my taste in music?
-the headphones must be portable, as i won't be using amp, and with a maximum price at roughly 200 dollars.
EDIT:
The comfort is also an important factor, therefor the headset must be over-ear.
