First of all : My apologies to Kramer for not believing in him.

I put a 100 Ohm metal film resistor in series for the ur40 and the bass BOOM has been almost done away with !.I only have to reduce between 60 and 300 hz by 1-2 db instead of the 3-4 db i used to before the mod.

This mod takes away the biggest flaw of the ksc titanium driver.These ARE the best deal in the entire audio world !

And exactly where does this resister go? In series with the positive lead on each side? On the negative on each side? Both pos + and neg - ?

For some reason, it doesn't work for me.

Music sounds about the same to my ears with the Koss cans I've tried it with... maybe it's amp-dependent.

P.S. shouldn't adding resistance actually increase bass boom, if it does anything?

A question for kramer about this: my amp has a 120-ohm output jack. Would this have the same effect as putting a resistor inline?
