anyone know anything about these phones. Have a chance to buy a pair locally, how do the stack up against the Stax models of similar vintage.

Big, heavy, seal well to the ear if the pads still work. Transformer box,
low bias. With a modern amplifier if they still work they might sound
fairly decent.
