I'm running what could be considered a close approximate to the IEF '23 target from 1.5 KHz upwards to good effect. I almost always have to attenuate the upper midrange and presence regions, though, on whatever IEM I'm using. If not, I find the tonality too biting.
This is the target I made:

So I tried it with 3 cables - stock cca cra cable, 8 core xinhs cable with qdc, and a trn t2 pro w/ 3.5mm
I got 1.6 with cca cable
1.695 with xinhs
but with the TRN t2 I could not get a reading at all, it keeps beeping. Don't know what I am doing wrong.
yeah, that is wrong way too high.

Can you upload your target please? I'm collecting various EQ presets for when my PR2 arrives to mess around with. I saw your previous post with EQ values but importable txt would be more convenient.

Hmm okay! What will be ideal value?
And any explanation why the meter keeps beeping with the TRN t2 Cable? I touched at the points shown in your post
Most XINHS cables I got measures under 0,3ohm.

A more up to date guide would be that you need to have one of the multimeter plugs attached to the L part of the 3.5mm male connector and the L part of the 2pin connector.

(you should not get any readings at all if you attached the other plug to the ground connector on the 2pin.)

Then to check matching you can also check the Ground part of the 3.5mm male connector, and the other pin of the 2pin.

If its a 4.4mm then you need to check L+ on the male socket as well as the L+ pin on the 2pin. Then the L- on the male socket and the L- on the 2pin. ("Ground" is not used in 4.4mm nor 2.5mm.)

My own EQ settings for the PR2. It's calculateed from Paul Wasabii's measurements and based upon Harman 2019 v2 with the upper midrange and presence regions reduced by - 2.5 dB [edit] on a slope starting at 1.6Khz.

My goal was to more closely align with the tonal balance of my Harman developed speakers - which are in a good room and EQ corrected. I believe I'm pretty close. [\edit]

Just got my pr2's yesterday does anyone else's have a slight driver flex or just mine? I've been wearing foams to mitigate the problem.
Never had any driver flex with any of the KZ Planars.
