Alright they had about 3 hours burn in now with white noise, pink noise and frequency sweeps and I must say they sound amazing the bass is really deep and punchy and tbh in Techno/Hardstyle I don't feel like they lack in the highs. These ear-plugs are just genious! Although I think the wire is a bit thin but alright
. If you listen to trance/dance/hardstyle etc... these are really good for the price tag
Heard them both, I wasn't a fan of the S4s; I found the bass to be a tad boomy, the treble somewhat metallic sounding and the midrange slightly too recessed for my liking. The IE6 has a good bass response, fair mids and acceptable highs. If I had to go for one over the other I'd take the IE6...
Saying that the horse has probably bolted as it seems the OP has already gone for the S4's
