How do you attach those pads to the magnet please?
I bought some 6mm neodymium magnets. There are two methods I've used.

1. Make a ring out of a thick card material and glue the magnets on. When this is inserted into the pad it acts as a magnetic adapter. To get the magnet spacing right, you can lay the ring on top of the headphone cup and stick the magnets on, and trace them where they stick with a pencil. Glue them place.

2. The way I currentl have it is a bit lazier and bit less nice looking. the magnets are stuck onto the pads themselves by sticking a magnet both inside and outside the pad skirt at each magnet point. These magnets are stronger than the ones in the hp3 so they stay put when you remove the pads.

It's been a little while since I've used my HP-3 after getting a pair of Grados and using my Ananda's as well but these are such a fun and enjoyable headphone to listen to. I love the thick boomy bass on these when listening to some edm and the highs are much better than I remember with nice detail retrievel. They my not be the most accurate headphone but they aren't bad and they're such a joy to use when I want to jam out to some modern music.

Trying this again with a picture:IMG_2717.JPG
Oddly enough I haven't gotten no more notifications despite I watch this thread.

From where did you got the pads?

I got them from Klipsch 2 months ago, so you should be able to still get replacement pads. Those are the part numbers for the Walnut and the Ebony in the pic.

Been a little slow here, so thought I'd post some pics of the walnut HP-3's with the ebony pads.

I own walnut and I think it’s amazing like Klipsch done.
I’d still burn it because I’ve no time to burn it 🙈

Maybe I should go for it and call it a day before I keep lying to myself I won't buy anymore headphones...
I see it's getting pretty rare these days and want the Walnut version.

New mod, a bearing bought on aliexpress ....
I wanted to put a transparent film because I don't like to paste directly on the skin.
