Six Weeks! Not a single puff or drag.

I quit (again) on Cinco de mayo, so tomorrow will be 3 weeks. I started smoking when I was 14, quit for 5 years between 1990 and 1995, then started again.
Most recently I used the new drug Chantix in order to quit. So far so good!

I smoked in high school and quit easily because I did not think cigerattes were anything special. I won't give my opinion on the cigarette smokers mentality because i do not want to offend anyone here but I will say congratulations on your effort.

Hang in there Zimm it will get easier. The 20+ years I was in the military I smoked a pack a day. I have been smoke free for the last 9+ years; my motivation to quit smoking was the birth of my daughter. I went Cold Turkey the day she was born; it was like a new beginning for both of us.
