Yeah. I'm curious too. It should be fixable by firmware update. Thanks, I couldn’t find the info.

Oh. Either I'm doing it wrong or my T2P is defective.Apple Mac mini > Roon > Kitsune DDC > Coax out > Tone2 Pro

What the Tone2 Pro does with the signal internally I have no way of knowing, but it is being fed a 24 bit 192kHz FLAC. I have the device set to Coax (not Auto) and have a power bank providing the 5v.Oh. Either I'm doing it wrong or my T2P is defective.
I think I have narrowed down the problem to the coaxial output of my NAD C565BEE. But I have not figured out exactly the cause. If I use coaxial direct from DAP to T2P it is ok it can play 192khz. But if I pass it through the optical input of the NAD then output coaxial to T2P, it cannot play 192khz.What the Tone2 Pro does with the signal internally I have no way of knowing, but it is being fed a 24 bit 192kHz FLAC. some optical ports are restricted to 24 bit 96kHzI think I have narrowed down the problem to the coaxial output of my NAD C565BEE. But I have not figured out exactly the cause. I understand this.some optical ports are restricted to 24 bit 96kHz
But I can see the NAD show 192khz in this set up: DAP>> Optical >> NAD >> Speaker Amp >> Speakers, and it plays 192khz.
Also with the Mojo: DAP >> Optical >> NAD >> Coaxial out >> Mojo >> Speaker Amp >> Speakers, it plays 192khz.
But, with T2P: DAP>>Optical>>NAD>>Coaxial Out >> T2P>> Speaker Amp>> Speakers, no sound, unless I set the NAD to downsample to 96khz.

Yep But not on yours i think. The first production runs has an issue where firmware uødating doesnt work as intented. Need to us an ST-Link to update itI don't use roon. I stream directly from Tidal or play local files from my WM1A.
Is the update fixable by firmware?
Bummer.Yep But not on yours i think. The first production runs has an issue where firmware uødating doesnt work as intented. Need to us an ST-Link to update it
Edit: Nah. Everything's gonna be alright.

How can I know if my T2P is the updated version?Sounds really promising! The measurements for it is incredible good though! And the updated version(the one i preordered) have some small stuff fixed. Im gonna use it as an amp also since im mostly use IEMs. So now i need to find i cheap good cable with 4.4 termination
BTW, do you use Roon?
@KHADAS Hey guys, so I was wondering if there is going to be a 3rd batch coming as they are all sold out unfortunately and I definitely want to get my hands on one.

Thanks! And you can use batteries as a power source, for example Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2 5000mAh (https://xiaomi-on.ru/zaryadnye-ustr...ulyatory-xiaomi/xiaomi-power-bank-2/xiaomi-mi -power-bank-2-slim-5000-mah-silver /) ??You might need setup your phone and enable the output from USB output.
We will suggest LPS to ensure good sound, or any USBC adapter will work in functionality. And I personally use Apple 20W USBC adapter.

So has anyone been able to compare the Tone2 Pro to the current crop of DAPs?
At the moment all of my DAC/amp devices use my phone or PC as a source. Sometimes I’d like to be able to just plug in and press play, so I’m looking at Android DAPs. But I don’t know where to aim to get similar SQ. For instance the new Hiby R6 2020, from a specs sheet perspective, looks like the Tone2 Pro, with a screen and Android... for a $500 premium.
I’d rather get something less expensive since these players and their fixed Android implementation all have a pretty close expiry date. But to drive the IMR Semper or my Final Sonorous VI I need something good. Where would you guys place the Tone2 Pro compared to DAP?

Just adding my 2 cents. I like almost everything about Tone 2 pro, especially the sound that's great. If you can utilize a balanced connection, please do, it will be worth it. My only wish is if it was just a bit weightier so it can hold position even when heavier/rigid RCA cables are attached... but then it wouldn't be as portable and cute.
