The Aeras looks and sounds like a most interesting upgrade to my current STAX SRM 007tii. Is the Aeras now in production? Do we have some reviews from people using a production version?

Thank you. Very true. I've enjoyed the process and the ride so far :)

Yes, the Aeras is in production and available in clear or black anodized. The amplifier circuit design has not changed, so all reviews are current. The only mechanical change was to add a tube cage to the amp.

Wow, Nixie tubes…… I haven’t heard that phrase in many a year. The early digital FM tuners like SAE used Nixie tubes for the read out. In that application they did not last forever,
in fact quite a bit less.
