I am not surprised that the selected headphones is one of those three ; I would have made that choice.

Personally, already having an Odin mk2 in Karelian birch (lacquered natural wood) that I find superb, my choice would most likely be the Thror wooden in Karelian birch stabilized black and blue color, which I nicknamed the Dark Knight; but if it is not him, the natural wood version of Karelian birch is also superb, and I would have liked to have it too.

This is the advantage of the good photo lenses; the cameras change, but not the good lenses.

Here, about your future Thror, on this screenshot of this video (during an exhibition in Moscow in april 2019: Hi-Fi & High End Show) we see your headphones and we guess the blue reflections, very subtle.

Hi all.

Why have I given the nickname "The Dark Knight" to the beautiful Kennerton Thror headphones (above) ordered by Dave (@ithilienrp)?

For several reasons.

This predominant black color of this Thror with bluish reflections (depending on the lighting), with the moire of the Karelian birch (here stabilized), with also the black wheels (for this version), make this Thror headphones have a very strong personality; it is both sober (serious), full of mystery and hidden strength with these moire and bluish reflections, a little like the Batman character in the movie "The Dark Knight": dark and high-tech character, serious, full of mysteries and strengths.

And then, the bat is the symbol (logo) of Kennerton; the Karelian birch, is also one of the most emblematic woods of the Kennerton brand (nb: the Karelian country borders the northern region of Saint Petersburg where this headphones is made): all this makes this Thror headphones in this unique livery, one of the most emblematic headphones of the Kennerton brand by this obscure beauty and what it represents (at least in my imagination), and that it is also one of the most beautiful headphones ever produced in the world, at least with wooden cups.

The last reason concerns the sound of this Thror headphones, whose color reflects perfectly his personality: this headphones is exceptional for listen the Concert Live in Prague by Hans Zimmer (Concert in Blu-ray, in Dolby Atmos quality) with a great sub-basss (synthesizer), a very textured, expressive and articulate bass guitar, a beautiful treble (cymbals), and finally very fast percussions.
So what better than to give you this excerpt from this live concert by Hans Zimmer "The Dark Knight Medley", to listen if possible in the dark with this Thror headphones, just perfect for me for this track.

Hi boysss, i am joining Kennerton club with a Thror in maghony!

Well the finnish is top notch, i dont think there are so many headphone that are this beautiful!! When it come to design i think Thror, Klipsch hp-3 and Fostex Th900 is the 3 best looking headphones!!!

Do you guys think Hugo2 is good enought for Thror, i am afraid that i have to upgrade dac/amp to next level to match with Kennertons sound quality.

Does anyone know how to remove earpads in case i want to try other pad. Dont know how to pull it out. Any other third party uppgrade pads avaliable??

I am happy now..!!! Will get back with an impression, still burning in now.
