Hi boysss, i am joining Kennerton club with a Thror in maghony!

Well the finnish is top notch, i dont think there are so many headphone that are this beautiful!! When it come to design i think Thror, Klipsch hp-3 and Fostex Th900 is the 3 best looking headphones!!!

Do you guys think Hugo2 is good enought for Thror, i am afraid that i have to upgrade dac/amp to next level to match with Kennertons sound quality.

Does anyone know how to remove earpads in case i want to try other pad. Dont know how to pull it out. Any other third party uppgrade pads avaliable??

I am happy now..!!! Will get back with an impression, still burning in now.

Congratulations.

Your Thror is superb! :)

The Thror's pads are very easy to remove: just pull on the seam at the base of the wooden cups, and it will disengage.
(Note: see the procedure on this video, but for another headphones, the principle remains the same).

For cons, I'm not sure that changing the earpads for the Thror is a good idea; you risk unbalancing the frequency response of the headphones that is the strength of the Thror. I will have warned you.

For amplification / Dac: a dynamic amp / Dac (powerful, at least 1 Watt), both fine, transparent, and if possible with a sound a little warm (not cold), is very suitable for the Thror.

Congratulations, Mr-Duke!

Chord's Hugo2 is good enough, if you love this amp, that's all you need. We have some clients who happily use this setup.

You can pull off the earpads like in most models on the market, nothing special about removing the ear cushions.

Hi all!
Finally got the cable for my headphones. Made at the highest level. Very soft, no microphone effect. I ordered a non-balanced version. In my opinion, the headphones are already very sensitive, with excellent instrument separation. So I don't think they really need a balance. Imho. As expected, the resolution has improved significantly over the entire frequency range. Bass became even deeper and clearer. But even with these improvements to make them headphones like Denon certainly will not work. I hope you know what I mean. :) In my first review I said that with the help of Jord you can select any instrument in the composition and listen separately. So with the replacement cord this effect is even more outstanding. Of course you can argue with me that any high-end headphones are capable of it. I agree with this, but among the overhead headphones such a pronounced effect I meet for the first time. The most amazing thing is that the headphones convey the melody to the listener with a single canvas, a whole structure.I think this is the main feature of these headphones.
For example, AKG K 701/702 and others in this series cannot play music like this. This is especially true of the HD 800, which I honestly do not like because of the huge bloated virtual scene and the inability to collect all the musical instruments in one. Although I must admit that the tonal balance(quantitative ratio) they are very similar to Sennheiser. I understand that many will not agree with me, but these are the impressions I have cause these little extraordinary headphones.
Of course, I do not claim to be the ultimate truth. I will be glad to see other reviews. Even diametrically opposed to my opinion.IMG-20190514-WA0001.jpg

Kennerton Magni (new close back headphone) and (at right) ... a prototype : the studio version of the Kennerton Thror: cheaper and even lighter than the current Thror flagship.

Kennerton JORD : The opposite sound of the Meze Audio 99; closed headphones with a very clear sound. Very good value for money.

While I'm waiting for the Thror .... This pair of Odin MkII in Amaranth (Purpleheart) remains my top favorite.

A photo of her with her "burgundy" friends from things I collect

La classe ! :) (งดงาม ; шикарный ; gorgeous)
