Hello everyone,

You have not seen anything about the latest Kennerton Thror and Thridi productions, some of which will be on offer (and probably sold) at the upcoming CanJam in Singapore at the end of the week (March 30-31).

The Karelian birch remains the most valuable wood offered in several versions, either classic (natural Karelian birch, lacquered varnish), or more "fun" in stabilized Karelian birch (impregnated with resin under vacuum, with hues, more vivid , depending on the color of the resin used).

These are special, rare and expensive versions of the Odin Thridi and Thror; but when you love these beautiful wood species, all unique in their reasons, we do not count!

Attached are some explanations (in Russian) of Max about these wood species that will be exhibited at CanJam in Singapore, in a few days, as well as some beautiful photos, in high resolution. (Note: Click on the image to enlarge).

(nb: Use the translator google translate: works very well with this Russian text).

Stabilized Karelian birch (left) and natural Karelian birch (raw wood, not yet lacquered), far right.

Karelian birch (stabilized, vacuum impregnated with colored resin) (right and left).

Natural Karelian birch (raw wood, not yet lacquered).

Natural Karelian birch (lacquered).

Unbelievable !

I think Kennerton has really found his way to differentiate himself from other helmet manufacturers (especially Hifiman) to showcase their headphones, unique by these wood species (natural or stabilized) all more beautiful than the other! :)

Bravo Max for these works of art, really unique! :)

Hi.

With this beautiful Kennerton Thror headphones, made of Karelian birch stabilized, impregnated with black resin with blue reflections (the most beautiful effect), you probably have one of the most beautiful (and best) headphones to listen to in the dark "The Dark Knight Medley" of Hans Zimmer's Live in Prague Concert (if possible in blu-ray).

I'd like to call this fantastic looking Thror "The Dark Knight"! :)

Thank you Milan, it's the most beautiful picture; these three Kennerton headphones (a Thridi and two Thror) in Karelian birch (*), are absolutely beautiful !! :)

(*) Karelian birch natural, in the middle, or stabilized, impregnated with colored resin (left and right).

A special mention to the Thror with blue-black reflections that I just nicknamed in my previous post "The Dark Knight", for its dark and elegant beauty (for its look), not to mention the very great and splendid sound of which it is able to produce on the soundtrack of the Live Concert in Prague of Zimmmer on the medley bearing the same name "The Dark Knight".

The perfect headphones ?

Note: The advantage of natural Karelian birch wood (unstabilized, not impregnated with colored resin) for this Kennerton Thror in photo above, is that it is 40 g lighter than the stabilized wood version, without forgetting the 200 g less than the Odin mk2.

As for another aesthetic improvement, the adjustment wheels are black color (black anodized aluminum), like the fork (the overall appearance is more elegant); more importantly, the outer grids of composite material are more matte than those of the very first Thror, with a less effect of "plastic", less glossy.

First Kennerton Thror wooden in bog oak (with outer grids of composite material more glossy)

For me, these photos make me dream ... :)

And yet I am already the proud owner of a Kennerton Thror (THR001) wooden in bog oak (the first of series, bought there 1 year) and a superb Odin mk2, wooden in Karelian birch (a very light wood) that almost made me forget the 200 g more to wear compared to the Thror in Bog oak (a very light wood too); the difference in weight for the Thror versus Odin mk2 (480 g versus 680 g) is in relation from external grids made of composite material (versus metal (Zinc) for the Odin mk2) and yhe high-tech drivers with carbon fiber frame for the Thror, versus metal frame drivers for the Odin mk2 and Thridi.

If I were a wealthy collector (which I am unfortunately not), I would buy all three headphones in Karelian birch (in photo above) with my eyes closed; or rather with my eyes open to admire them in a showcase!
