Well, I have to say that the American Idol clips are way more impressive then her own songs. I even wouldn't mind listening to "Natural woman" more than once

. Overall, though, I guess she's just not my thing.

Since you all are talking about her ability to sing live, why don't you judge for yourself:

I'm sure not many here care, but there's tons of fan video floating around of her in concert, and she actually sounds better live without the CD production. She also has done many songs in concert either acapella or with just a piano that seems to invalidate the claim that her voice is a studio production.

If it's a matter of liking or hating her music or her voice, that's obviously subjective and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I think it's unfair to call her a studio produced hack a la Ms. Spears.
