The Keces 151 USB DAC is $270 shipped. I need one that has a USB input because that is all I have on my computer. It will be paired with a Little Dot I+ amp and Beyerdynamic DT-770/80 Pro's and Alessandro MS-1's. I read that the Keces gets good reviews but I just want to check to make sure whether there is anything else at the same price that might be better or as good but less money. I could stretch the budget to $300 but that is it.

EMU0404 USB, Zhaolu 2.5A (easily modded for MUCH better performance), and of course TONS of older DACs on eBay (most are S/PDIF so you'll need a transport, I suggest using CMI8738-based cards, ~$20 off eBay).

If you can hold of for a few weeks the Audio-gd Compass USB dac sounds like it could be a contender. Of course all bets are off until someone actually has one in their hands to review. Huh, I thought the Keces 151 was fairly well acclaimed here, I was thinking of picking one up as well.

I think it is. The reviews I read are all good. I was just making sure there was not one that was better or as good but cheaper. Seems like lots more researching to do.
