I have a good idea about your silver cables. I have a different version of them. They are an extreme value for cables. in my opinion. I ordered the 2 pin version cant wait to try those. I am actually more curious about your 8 core UPOCC cables. I hope it is truly a UPOCC cable. I have a few sets I own and they are all expensive so getting a $20 version will be interesting. Looking forward to the cables.

You are so right about putting a new cable on them! I rolled a bunch of cables with mine yesterday, and I settled on this one below. I am quite blown away by how amazingly fun the KS2 are hooked up straight to my cell phone, the Samsung S10+ with my favorite cable.

KS2 2020 & Satin Audio Athena 8 wire

OK, this might seem crazy, that I have an $800 cable connected to a $25 iem. However, I heard some potential with the stock cable like yourself and wanted to see what I could get out them. I have to say with a cable swap the performance is stellar, and a very fun tuning, that works very well with my entire library of music. I plan to do my review today, and will be giving a different perspective from some of the other more formal reviews. This iem is a keeper, and just joined my daily driver stable, and also became my favorite iem for walking with just my cell phone. Bravo KB EAR!
