My pad worn out after pass 2 years.
Thinking about buying a new pair of pad or just order it from Kaldas.
How did you solve this problem?
could you find any thicker pads which fit the size?

My best pad in sound and comfort.
Foam inside stock pad, I am curious so tear it before throw away.
I must say I love the sound when using like this much more than normal stock pad.
Speed, wide stage, extend the highs, make me feel of a "esat. Hd800s"

@TYATYA Do you habe a template therforee?
Just cut and remove faux leather layer. It expose the foam.

Btw, order stock pad today. I will make it perforate pad when it arrive.
Stuff $18
Ship $50
Crazily order just 1 pair, bcs shipping will not increase if I had order 2

Can you please share the mod details, how did you get rid of wires ? 🙂
I did not take pictures so texting only.
And I will post here if @Aumkar @Mr.TechAgent don't mind if I post here how to disassemble the unit.

Otherwise I will p.m you.

But I think before you doing the mod, even if you think warranty period was over, consider warranty void at first.
He well cover the warranty for your original unit.

Briefly, if you had changed your ear pad once or more time, you can know how to remove the inner cover (the smaller one of housing).
Then make a channel(groove) for driver's wires by using a soldering iron(ref. 320 Celsius) or something like a hot knife.
Desoldering the wires from xlr plug then cut them to be shot and then soldering.
It take 1hour in total.

I've had the RR1 Conquest Premium for a couple of days now.
Some early impressions:

• 2nd best treble/bass separation I've ever heard (below Sennheiser HE-1, and just above of T+A Solitare P)
(treble/bass separation = no loss of treble volume while the bass is slapping hard - almost all headphones fail this test - only HE-1 can do it 100% perfectly)
• medium/small staging
• imaging is fine
• sounds like a 'headphone', not a STAX
• kinda reminds me of HD650 tuning and staging
• why is an electrostatic headphone making this much bass? o_0
• timbre has no hyper-realism or veil - VERY safe middle-of-the-road sense of realism (extremely good timbre)

I think it is objectively my current best headphone.

(Subjectively it can't tick every box - I am a soundstage junkie and part-time basshead.)
