I pinched the the foam inserts out. Now one of the thin cloth disks that cover the driver grills is just a tiny bit not so strained as the other one. I must've pinched it thru the foam insert and it's no longer snug fit on one side (by the smallest margin). No severe folds, really. It just doesnt look as flat as the other one. I failed to fix it just by pulling the cloth and I dont want to take the plether pads off. Mayb it's paranoya, but still: can it effect SQ?

Thanks for quick feedback. Well, I don't hear any difference at all so far but I have not burned-in the cans yet. Mayb I poorly explained what has happened (I'm Russian). The cloth disk just looks not so flat and strained as the other one. That's all. Still I feel a bit uneasy. I'm a perfectionist.

hmm...if it doesnt effect sound, and isnt readily seen, maybe you shouldnt worry

Yeah if the cloth isn't that flat I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep enjoying your new phones!

That happened to me also when I was removing the foam... you shouldn't worry about it.
