I've been looking at the Corda Aria, the Headroom Desktop, the PPX3, maybe an XP-7? I dunno what these sound like, ideally I'd like to stay under 500 but if I go a bit over I can deal. I'll be running out of my CE775 for now, but I'd like to upgrade that in the future... I'd like to know what to try to demo, or if there is any obvious choice, shoot. Thanks for any and all input!

please read the countless threads linking the Heed and the 701s. The other amp you mention are absolutely excellent and you are more likely to find them at a meet to demo.
