Incorrect - you have to sell your K701s and get the HD800. The $1K difference you pay will get you 1-5% more refinement over the K701.

I use my Grados anywhere between 3 - 5 hours a day (is that a lot?) I work afternoons/ evenings mainly so I get home late, go to bed late and get up late (compared to the rest of the house) and even though I love my speakers to bits once 9pm comes its over to the cans
