Instead of getting an mp3 player for my birthday I chose to buy my entire interpunk wishlist of CD's. That's actually only 18 CD's, but I am so excited and I cannot wait for them to arrive. 2 day shipping was only $13.75 so I should get them this Wednesday which is my birthday.

You want the list?! You can't handle the list!!

-Authority Zero - A Passage In Time
-The Bouncing Souls - Live
-The Business - No Mercy For You
-The Clash - Live From here to Eternity
-The Dropkick Murphys - Blackout
-The Dropkick Murphys - Sing Loud Sing Proud
-The (International) Noise Conspiracy - Armed Love
-The (International) Noise Conspiracy - Survival Sickness
-Lars Frederiksen And The Bastards -Viking
-The Letters Organize -Dead Rhythm Machine
-Rancid - Let's Go
-Rancid - Life Won't Wait
-Rancid - Rancid (1993)
-Rancid - Roots, Radicals
-Rancid - Indestructible
-Rocket Science - Eternal Holiday
-Toasters - In Retrospect
-Toasters - Enemy Of The System

Good decision I must say!
Its all about the music, and not just audio gear.

x-Infinity!

You can stretch your dollars even further by shopping at reputable used-CD stores. Perfect-condition examples range from $3-7 per. A LOT of used music can be bought for what a new iPod Classic 160 & replacement warranty would cost me. Plus, you can often find the older, un-remastered versions of albums that usually sound better.

And to top it off, CD's sounds better out of my old portable CD player than any mp3 player I've ever had.

Always a good choice to spend money on music rather than gear. Afterall, what are we using our gear for? Enjoy the tunes!

I'm not a punk expert, but if you don't already have it, you really, really, REALLY need to get Rancid's ...And Out Come The Wolves. Their best as far as Im concerned. I keep losing my copy, and need to get it again myself.

I must have listened to that album 500 times in high school.
