i got some ksc75's and i honestly wasn't that impressed. my $20 pair of sony behind-the-neck headphones have much more bass and don't sound as tinny as these.

I hope they live up to all the fuss
any idea if these will sound better than my current e3c??
and thanks to kiwirugby for the kind offer a while back
no, they won't, these really aren't worth the money. i have the e2c and the e2c sounds a lot better than the ksc75s.

No offense.
I think you like sony sound better than koss sound.
In fact, $20 sony phones sound better than ksc75 is a fantastic news.
Do you mind tell us what $20 sony phones you got there?
I am more than willing to try the phones you're talking about.
My KSC75s arrived today. Of course, they aren't burned-in, but I can imagine what sort of sound signature they'll have. They're certainly detailed-sounding for the price, but a bit too hot for my style.
Like many people, my main problem is with the fit of the ear clips, or rather, the altogether lack of fit.
My ears seem a bit wide for them, so I'll probably either find a headband that supports them or give them away to a friend. The cord of the non-volume version is also very short (especially coming from a pair of Sennheiser headphones!), but it's probably the ideal size for portable listening.
