Just purchased them two days ago and they sound great!
Today, however, while watching random videos around the web, I loaded one up and it started playing.
Little did I know that the video automatically started at 100% volume. Also, the master volume on my computer was ~75% so, ultimately... there was like 5 seconds of pure loudness of 'boom noises (Diablo 3 trailer thing)'
Of course, with the Asus Xonar Essence STX having a built in amplifier, is there a possibility that it could have maybe broke or damaged my headset due to the fact it was extremely loud?
Thanks!
