Hi everybody I have just placed an order for the Nautilus hopefully getting it after Canjam Singapore. Any recommendations on which eartip or cable that I should go with? Tried using Final Type G tip seems great so far

I like using my Eletech Eclipse cable with the Eletech Baroque eartips combo. The copper cable help the Nautilus to still be technical while still maintaining a good punchy bass. The Baroque eartips just fits my ears really nicely and is comfy for me. I had good results with the AZLA SednaEarfit Crystal eartips too.

I will eventually share my impressions of the Nautlius. My initial impression is that it hits where I want it with my music preferences. I don't regret the purchase.

Hi all!

Wanted to share my latest review. Thanks go out to @MusicTeck for the opportunity as this was picked up for review purposes with the intention of touring it around. Opinions are all my own subjective take.

Here we have the Jomo Audio Nautilus!

1000055730.jpg

Pros: Bass is engaging, deep, punchy
Mids are natural sounding, female vocals are phenomenal with male vocals having plenty of warmth
Treble is incisive and energetic without being harsh
Technical capabilities are well done, imaging and soundstage punch above its price point
IEM is comfortable with a decent (albeit memory prone'ish cable)
Balanced sound signature with nothing that feels lacking
BCDs work well with the mid range

Cons: Treble being incisive means that if you're treble sensitive, this isn't for you
Sonion BCDs are more on the subtle side vs aggressive implementation
Looks are definitely in the "Love it or Hate it" category

Overall, this is a 4.5/5 for me with being such an engaging, bold, yet balanced sound. It's very guuuud.

Jomo Audio Nautilus impressions.

A little bit about myself: I am certainly no reviewer! I am merely a 53-year-old music and gear lover, whith IEM’s as the preferred transducer. I prefer more neutral leaning sets, with some or a lot of bass boost😄, but have a wide tolerance for different sound profiles! I also have a fondness for all BA or BA+EST IEM’s, but overall sound and fit is the important part, not the tech’s. Having heard a lot of great gear the last few years I have realized that I like most IEM’s... Both affordable and ridiculously expensive, both mainstream and niche tunings! There have to be some really big negatives for me not to find redeeming qualities in almost any monitor! I say this so that you understand I can adapt to most gear, and my impressions should not be your only reference😅.

The following is my short subjective take on this IEM!

Jomo Audio Nautilus is an Audio Geek Europe tour unit. A big thanks to AGE for the opportunity!

The Nautilus is a beautiful high quality build. It has a gold color full metal housing with a mother of pearl inlay in the face plate. The cable is fairly thick, but very comfortable with little to no microphonics. I don’t have the full retail package, so I can’t comment on the rest of the accessories. Nautilus have a somewhat unusual driver setup, with a full frequency dynamic driver, bone conduction driver for filling the mids, and a planar driver for extended highs. For further details check out their website:

For me, this setup works wonders! It gives a full balanced sound with great bass performance. There is a wonderful tactility and cleanness to the bass I really enjoy. Mids sound present and "aired", possibly an advantage of the BC driver? No perceived harshness or sibilance in the highs, just smoothness. No part of the FR sticks out in any way, just excellent smooth sound at my probably less than average listening volume level. This continues at higher volume levels also😊. All in all a great experience for me. Fit is excellent, and comfort is great, despite the somewhat high weight of the buds. For me it is also a added joy with the cool feeling of the metal shells when putting them in my ears😄

Do check the Nautilus out if you have the chance!

The Nautilus is one of my absolute favourite iems. The astounding bass, smooth mids and incisive treble like me away every time I plug them in. I love the Jules Verne inspired design both glamorous and comfortable.. I don't understand how these aren't hyped to the moon and back. It seems that truly outstanding iems are being smothered by the sheer number of releases every month. At the end of 2025 I can see that the Nautilus will be at the top of my iems of the year

Is pairing Jomo Nautilus with a 3.5mm cable and qudelix 5k enough to power it decently? I mostly listen to my IEMs via qudelix 5k. Current daily drivers are Hype4 and Penon Fan 3. Thinking of selling and upgrading to Nautilus but don't wan to invest in means of using 4.4mm.

I just tested it out and it seems to run plenty fine you might have to turn it up a decent amount to get everything sounding well and the dynamics to really shine through but it still runs it well enough. Not my favorite pairing in terms of the audio equipment I own but it's still very good.

awesome, thanks for the info! i hear you. but i mostly listen to music buzzing around the house, on-the-go, and not at a desktop setting. so an amp/dac setup is not ideal for my use. i could delve into daps, but so far, i've been really pleased with my experience with just the q5k.

Of course I completely understand it still sounds very good I would say so you're due for an enjoyable experience.

Why not just buy a 4.4mm—>2.5mm adapter? Then you get the balanced power output. That’s what I do with all of my IEMs on the 5K.
