I tried the FT3. It fit me really well. But I really love those self-adjusting headbands and I loved the modular cable. I just thought the sound was a bit bright for my taste. Not that I’m expecting the FT5 to be too different, but I would like to own an affordable planar. So I’m looking forward to trying it.

I didnt find them bright as I own HD800S and almost in 40ies so my ears are losing highest freq I would say. I have noticed on them they are damped so much even if you put palm on headphone sound doesnt change unlike HD800S. Hopefully they will improve on FT5.

Yes, the Q15 peaked my interest, a bigger Q11 with better build, better specs, volume wheel in the middle like the Gryphon and BT but at around $500 per Fiio rep coming out in November.
