I emailed my receipt to JLabs on 12/2 and Brian replied within a few hours. I still haven't received my free cans... My daughter loves her Black/Electric Blue ones, though. Brian are you still reading this thread?

I have 2 of these (one is the wife's) and the mids sound great with excellent detail, but the bass below 50 Hz is very recessed. I have tried just about every tip I own. Is it my fit, or is this IEM really sub-bass light?

Ordered mine 12/1, got an email from Brian about an hour later, got the amazon pair the following Friday, burned them in a bit, enjoyed them (actually tried them out as on stage monitors, with bi-flange tips, then decided to order SCL3s) but still haven't received BOGO pair.

Emailed Brian a few days back, got the automated response, couple days later got a real email. Very short, terse, but understandable due to the stress they've got to be going through. He said they were developing tri-flange tips, and that the BOGO pairs were "on their way"...here's hoping. Thinking of including these in with the Zune I'm selling....

Does anybody know if Etymotic ER6i triple flange tips are compatible with the J2's? Or can anyone suggest an upgrade to the tips that come with the J2's?

The ends of the J2's are 1/4", so I doubt the ER6i tips would fit.

You might try this. It worked well for me on my J2's and ER-4P.

I made a hole punch out of a Mig welder end I found on the floor at work. Something similar could be made with a piece of copper tubing and a file.
The hole is 3/16". The foamie stays in place once it's on the earphone.

When you punch the hole get a hair drier, turn it on low and hold the foamie fairly close and it will regain most of the shape lost during the punching process. It will pucker again when you put it on the earphone if you don't put a tube in it that will fit the end of your earphone. If you decide to use a tube in the foamie secure it with a drop of Superglue so it doesn't slip out.
