anybody has any opinions on these 3 ciems? i'm looking to buy a Merlin, but i found a 2nd hand jh13 for the same price(inclusive of the reshelling that is).... so i'm kinda stuck in a dilemma right now.

Ask evilcalyptic, I think he's had all 3, for sure I know he's had merlin and jh16.

UM Merlin, JH16Pro fall in same category (bassheavy but detailed and JH16Pro are even more detailed than UM Merlin) and JH13Pro are flat, reference quality CIEMs and they are very detailed without missing bass punch.

JH16 more detailed but are the merlins bassier and able to go lower then the Jh16?
