I ordered through the audiologist, so I didn't get any updates at all until a shipping notification email went out. She warned me that JH was running 35-40 business days (this was end of July) on orders of the JH13, and that estimate turned out to have been correct. Pretty annoying wait, but it was worth it.

Ouch, that's gonna be a painful waiting process... i ordered just before black friday hoping the waiting period would be shorter since most would be holding up for black friday before pulling the trigger..

I'm the same way. I would easily have saved a lot but I think the journey is also worthwhile. My tastes have changed slightly but I always go back to the type of sound the uerm has.
The driver war is pretty ridiculous to me. Even the 6 driver jh13 now seems lacking compared to the driver count of other ciem.
Agreed, Seems a 3 way should get it done if only for frequency tailoring reason. There may be something to using 6 instead of 3 as siamesed drivers will cancel vibration and have lower distortion but it's certainly only part of the design process and clearly not the most important one.
There's currently a killer deal on the UERM at a certain group buy site.
