Thinking about upgrading to AK Angie, coming from UM3X 6/7 years and still going strong ... wondering if someone had the same IEM can provide some insight, many thanks in advance.
I was talking to my country's Inearz dealer the other day and they said they can do 4 pin connector reshell. I saw the pics and it's looking good and i'm really tempting to go for it!
Here's the link: http://www.inearz.com/remolding2/
I am so sorry but I have a written confirmation of one of Inearz dealers saying they do not are able to reshell Angies.
So Unique Melodies is the only company I have found that can do that

I sent a message and they said they can't do it. They said "The Roxanne is the highest remold we do of JH".
I think it's because the steel sound tube that has been added on Angie/Layla.
So, has anyone experience reshelling their universal Angie to custom with Unique Melody? It seems they are the only provider that do that.
Finally got my DP-X1. Obvious improvement over the old AK120. Cost me only 300 bucks by trading the AK120

The newer model, AK120ii has only 2 Ohm output. I would have thought that also was too high, but Angie sings like an angle on my player. In balanced, it's an unbelievable pairing.
Yea, AK's players are overpriced
