I was talking to my country's Inearz dealer the other day and they said they can do 4 pin connector reshell. I saw the pics and it's looking good and i'm really tempting to go for it!

Here's the link: http://www.inearz.com/remolding2/

I am so sorry but I have a written confirmation of one of Inearz dealers saying they do not are able to reshell Angies.

So Unique Melodies is the only company I have found that can do that

I have just received this "comply replica" for my Angies.
http://es.aliexpress.com/item/The-best-quality-Inert-sponge-earphone-C-set-super-comfortable-isolation-headset-memory-foam-sponge-earplugs/32488543695.html?aff_platform=aaf&sk=nEAE6eQjI%3A&cpt=1464341314399&aff_trace_key=6acb4414f6e546dcb88e7ced873d2ac3-1464341314399-05868-nEAE6eQjI

I ordered T500 M size (12.5mm) in red and black and here you have in a plastic box.

In the next picture you can compare them to original comply ones.

I have to say that I have not noticed any special difference in sound quality
But they are a little bit less maleables than the original ones. Good point in summer.

Hmmm, that's weird since Inearz facebook posted a couple of Roxanne remold before. Here's the link:

I'm gonna send an email to Inearz directly since i'm really interesting in remold my Angie too.

I sent a message and they said they can't do it. They said "The Roxanne is the highest remold we do of JH".

I think it's because the steel sound tube that has been added on Angie/Layla.

Yeah I asked them a while back about re-shelling Layla and they said they couldn't because of the steel sound tube.

The reshell Angie is very complicated, because system freqphase.
Low armatures Sonion 3800 are 15 mm tube length, mid armatures Sonion 2800 are 25 mm tube length, high armatures (TWFK + SWFK combo) are 50 (!) mm tube length.
The electronics high, 3 inductor and 2 capacitor contains, connected in parallel.
The electronic medium 1 inductor and 1 capacitor connected in paralel.
The connector   3 pieces + and 3 pieces - cable must be connected to, and they must place them so that the tube does not break out.

The high for example located below the connector,  the other armature is inversely

I will compile the Angie now, so I know the structure.

Finally got my DP-X1. Obvious improvement over the old AK120. Cost me only 300 bucks by trading the AK120

Right away the output impedance of the DP-X1 would be an improvement over the 3 Ohm output impedance of the old AK120 with the Angie. That's a little too high for the Angie's 16 Ohm resistance, which would mess with the Angie's frequency response. The general rule of thumb is the source output impedance multiplied by 8 should be less than the resistance of the IEM. For the AK120 that's basically anything under 24 Ohm resistance will likely have an altered frequency response.

Glad you like the new player.

The newer model, AK120ii has only 2 Ohm output. I would have thought that also was too high, but Angie sings like an angel on my player. In balanced, it's an unbelievable pairing.

Yes, the 2 Ohm is just enough on the newer ii model. Same with the AK240.
