Is this accurate? Does the JDSLabs 3.5mm audio cable really have <0.1 ohm impedance? http://www.jdslabs.com/products/145/jds-labs-3-5mm-interconnect-cable/
 
I have no way to test this.
 
I'm asking because I purchased Fidelio X1s and looking to replace the cable. I know nothing about this specific cable, but JDS Labs is an excellent vendor. I would trust them on this.

I don't know about excellent. This was my first purchase from them and not only did they send me a wrong cable, it was also from monoprice.I contacted them though and they said they will re-ship on Monday.

It's just a 3.5mm stereo interconnect. Any decent build-quality cable will work fine.

Oddly peculiar that $220-$250 headphones would have a poor quality interconnect cable while just any other cable is "decent".

I just took a cheap 3.5mm cable  for about $5 dollar and checked it with my $500 multimeter it read .183 ohms. I'll test my BJC later when I get the chance

The stock X1 cable has impedance of something like 1.8, which is abnormally high. The cable impedance makes a big impact on the bass of these headphones, which is what makes these headphones.

It is the unit of measurement used for impedance. Like Fahrenheit and Celsius is the unit of measurement for temperature.

Furthermore, impedance is the resistance to a current when you supply voltage.
