Hi there. I'm looking for some good quality speaker for my PC, in the $100 range, so I'm considering to buy this JBL Creature III. Is it a good choice? Or there is better options for this price?

No, they aren't very good. Usual consumer junk, however cool they may look. I'd recommend looking for a pair of good bookshelf speakers and run them off an old receiver.

Just keep in mind that I am not a hardcore audiophile. I mean, I like enjoying good quality music, but I don't want to spend loads of cash in sound equipment, and I don't have an old receiver at hand to draw off the speakers. Can you recommend a good speaker set costing $100 or less?

Do you want a 2.1 or a 2.0? , edifier make the better sounding 2.1's i don't know whats avaible to you in your country with your budget http://www.edifier-international.com/products/edifier-multimedia .
