Another useful trick for maintianing a very long lasting and secure seal with the Jambada extensions and olives is to lightly coat the olives with rubbing alcohol right before inserting. I happened to do that with just one of them yesterday and just a few minutes ago decided to pull them out and try the Complys I made. The one olive I coated with alcohol stuck so well I had to tweezer it out. The other olive, though well sealed and seated, came out like foams usually do.

Thanks Lewis and jabada for this mod.

I got my triples yesterday and was sure I would have to send them back they were SO uncomfortable.

With the LL (lewis link) jabada mod/ flip/flop and comply T 500's they seem to be pretty comfortable these 1st 10 min. of listening.

The sound and isolation is great too.

Although the greatest comfort for me is when I use small olives so I will still experiment.

I am seriously considering custom tips for the triples. Either silicone or acrylic
if they don't compromise the SQ.

BTW , the SQ of the trips is fantastic, very happy with that aspect.

You're quite welcome and I'm glad it worked out for you. I've been doing more and more with this simple mod procedure and am thoroughly thrilled by its content of usage. There seems to be no end to the things this mod can help. My latest successful effort involved putting shoulders on the large end of the extension. I'm also contemplating a lip or ridge at the small end, just for fun...not really needed, though. The way I'm thinking about doing it taking an unshrunk piece of heat shrink a bit larger than the small end of the extension, gluing up the small end of the extension, sliding the unshrunk piece onto the glued up small end of the extension and heating it to shrink it down on the extension and once the glue sets up, it would be permanent and provide a lip for the sleeve to grab.

I don't get taking a $3-$400 set of earphones, and ruining any type of warranty on them by doing this. Wouldn't it make more sense to return them and find a set that fit better. I would think if UE thought these should have this type of nozzle, they would have made them that way.

Another mod I'm using right now is this:

Sorry about the ugly yellowish color

Actually, I used an idea from another headfier. The difference is that he (sorry, forgot his name) did this with Shure olives without the core. I am using the stock T500.
Just as easy as the extension mod: just take a triflange tip (Ety in my case) and cut all but the last flange. Make sure to leave just a bit of silicon in the top end of the tip barrel.
Now put the silicon tip inside the Comply and then into the IEM nozzle.
This worked wonderfull with my q-JAYS and E3c.
That way I just have to buy the T500 instead of all Comply lineup to fit my IEMs.
