Just got my Zu Mobius replacement cable for my HD-650's installed (with the gentle help of some pliers and a soft rag). Not sure yet how its gonna sound, but one thing's for sure . . . it looks damn good. I gotta get that banana holder to complete the presentation!

The burn-in process is continuing and I've listened intermittently. Right out of the box, the bass seemed pretty muffled. Into day 2 (yesterday) things were beginning to open up. I'll give a final report towards the end of the week.

Any leads on where to find those chrome banana holders?

EDIT: checked Walmart and Target, couldn't find any there so I had to go to Linens and Things to pick one up.

Uhh did you use the pliers to remove the stock cable, or plug in the Zu Mobius?

I was able to pull the stock cable connectors out fairly easily with just my hands.

The Zu Mobius connectors require quite a bit more pressure to connect, hence the (careful) use of pliers.
