I'm glad that this was amicably resolved. I choose not to post in either thread. Not to fan flames, but I was a bit upset by how many members jumped down either Jan or Pinkie's throat before knowing all of the facts. As they say, "Assuming makes an ass out of me and you."

Actually it's:

When you ASSUME you make an ASS out of U and ME.

I just wanted to let you know that Michael and I smoked our pipe of peace.

We agreed that Michael will change his website and provide you with instructions on how to make your own passive crossfeed filter. I've contributed some of my own tricks to improve sound quality, so you will be provided with an up-to-date design (soon).

Please understand that Michael no longer provides assembled units.

Cheers,

Jan

As per our communication, and in accordance with the above, I have uploaded a "painting by numbers" guide to constructing a standalone Jan Meier bass enhanced crossfeed to my website. I haven't communicated with Jan on the subject of a name for it so in the interim period I named it the "Jan Meier Bass Enhanced Lite" crossfeed "JMBEL"

I say "lite" as it's Jan's original crossfeed circuit without bypass or differing levels of crossfeed and switches and knobs. For those of you who require switched levels of crossfeed and a "bypass" switch and can't DIY I strongly recommend it.
