on a quick thought: Myslovitz - Man of Glass; nothing fancy, it's very simple, yet very appealing. it gets started at 2:00

Futurism and Darkshines - Muse (Peoples tend to put Hysteria as their favorite bass track from Muse, but I reckon Futurism and Darkshines are much better).

Flutter (Live) - Bonobo (Nice, jazzy bass. His basslines is one of the biggest reasons why I'm such a big fan of his work).

Also, pretty much any of Flea's crazy bass slapping.

Faith No More - Everything's ruined - great bass playing there, just meshes so well with the drums to make the song kickin'

Dream Theater - The Rover/Achiles' Last Stand/The Song Remains the Same - lead instrument here, you might say

Isis - Altered Course - Tool's Justin Chancellor here, nice counterpoint to all that guitar screeching, giving the song heaviness

PJ Harvey - Working for the man - I just like this one. Really, you should too, check it out.
