why not both =)

face protection is a very very good idea (I've got glasses and I've managed to get pieces of solder and burning flux stuck on them before I used eye protection--thank god i had something in between). I know goggles are a total PITA, especially if you have glasses. They also tend to fog up all the time.

So I don't use them =) Instead, I use a face shield--got mine from harbor freight for like a couple of bucks or so (on "sale"). Doesn't fog up and isn't annoying since it's open from the back, and protects your entire face from anything flying from in front of you.

Thats what happened to me...couple days later it grew into a callus, and right now, it's back to normal...YAY@!
