I posted this on the DELLDJ site but I figure I may have more luck over here.

The E2 3.5mm connector does not seem to go all the way in the DLL DJ plug which is no problem when stationnary but is problematic when moving as it has a tendancy to cause interference (i.e. it is loose in the connector). There seem to be some space above the connector and the E2 plastic part of the connector is just too darn massive.

Any solutions? Would the remote solve the problem (i.e would the connector go all the way in?)

I tried the default earbuds...Mah gawd what a difference.

Thanks,

Klown

Have you tested your E2Cs on other devices? Early units were defective...the sound would "short out" because of a loose connection at the base of the plug.

Try plugging the E2Cs into another source and wobble the cord. If you have the same problem and your Shure's are under warranty, contact customer service and they will replace your product free of charge.

You are entirely right. If I wobble the cord (near the connector), it creates interference on another device than the DELL. I shall have to contact customer support.

Thank you.
